American Bird Conservancy (ABC) is a 501(c)(3), not-for profit organization whose mission is to conserve native birds and their habitats throughout the Americas.

American Birding Association

The ABA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides leadership to birders by increasing their knowledge, skills, and enjoyment of birding. We are the only organization in North America that specifically caters to recreational birders. We also contribute to bird and bird habitat conservation through our varied programs.

BirdLife International

BirdLife International is a global partnership of conservation organizations that strives to conserve birds, their habitats and global biodiversity, working with people towards sustainability in the use of natural resources.

Black Swamp Bird Observatory

Located in the remnants of the once vast Great Black Swamp region of Northwest Ohio, Black Swamp Bird Observatory (BSBO) is a 510(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to promoting sound stewardship of avian resources in the Lake Erie Marsh Region. BSBO teams research with education to promote bird conservation.

Cincinnati Bird Club

Interactive Web site for the Cincinnati birding community with dynamic sightings log, message board and calendar of local birding and nature-related activities.

Cornell Lab of Ornithology

The Cornell Lab of Ornithology is a world leader in the study, appreciation, and conservation of birds. Our hallmarks are scientific excellence and technological innovation to advance the understanding of nature and to engage people of all ages in learning about birds and protecting the planet.

Ohio Ornithological Society

OOS aims to organize and promote fellowship among enthusiasts in the study and enjoyment of wild birds, recruit new members among young and beginning birders, encourage new and established local affiliated organizations devoted to wild birds, and bridge gaps between professionals and amateurs, private and public agencies, and between lovers of birds and those who are, for the moment at least, indifferent to them.

General Conservation
